If you haven’t been living under a rock, you’ll have heard the uproar about copyright over the last couple of years. Artists need the protection of copyright to make their living, and now the internet is really doing something about it.
It happened to me!
Just recently I experienced this myself. Without thinking about it, I uploaded a video that I thought was simply wonderful in the uplifting message it carried. I particularly liked the music. Remember the song, “Dont Worry, Be Happy”? Hmmm. YouTube did too, and they promptly disabled the audio on the message! It was just a few seconds of music, but they took away the entire audio track, and wrote me a message saying that the music belonged to a well-known record company!
The copyright message is clear: if you use a song from your favourite CD or music group (especially for commercial/business purposes) without paying for it, then it is a violation of the rights of the copyright owners.

When this happened to me, I thought about everyone else.
